So what is "Hentai",
"Anime", "Cartoon Porn" and "Anime
Porn" anyways? Well, hentai and anime are off in a world
of their own. The porn industry currently lumps these all in as "Adult
Cartoon", or "Manga Hentai" or simply "cartoon
xxx". Here's the deal: Anime refers to the style of artwork generally,
commonly found in series like "Final Fantasy" and "Sailor
Moon" - this is an "anime" style of artwork. Anime
porn - well that's now obvious. However, "Hentai"
is the more proper way to refer to pornographic anime. They are the
same style of artwork, hentai is just "perverted" (to use a half
literal translation from Japanese).
Cartoon porn & adult cartoons may or may not be drawn in the anime style.
These are more along the lines of erotic artworks, hand drawn porn - not
in the style that we've come to know and love from japanese influences.
Manga is different again - it is historically drawn in black and white,
with some blue ink thrown in. |
